Hairstyles by Face Shape: The Perfect Haircut for a Round Face With Coarse and Textured Hair With Extensions

How do you style coarse hair? With extensions? And a round face?
With lots of long layers, says celebrity hair stylist Shirlena Allen.
LaTrycee came to Allen with long, thick, wavy hair -- most of which were extensions -- and a natural hair length of five inches that created an imbalanced look.
Allen's first task: to straighten LaTrycee's hair so she could see where her natural length ended. She then cut long layers into the extensions and softly blended them around LaTrycee's face before layering the hair at her crown to add volume.
To finish, Allen applied hair wax along the edges to seal the cuticles and ensure LaTrycee's natural hair texture would match the extensions.
"I love it!," said LaTrycee about her beautiful head of natural-looking hair.

Ms. Allen should not be doing type 4 hair. Between this and the other video, I feel very badly for both of these women. She's ruined one person's hair and gave both of them a bad haircut, she might be very good dealing with other hair types, but just because someone is "Black" doesn't mean that they can do "Black" hair. After all, she is wearing a weave.
