J.Crew Gets 'Romantic' With Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, and Malin Ackerman

The preppy fashion retailer is playing a major role in the new film "The Romantics."
In New York City, promotional photos were taken of the stars of the movie -- including Malin Ackerman, Josh Duhamel, and Katie Holmes -- decked out in Fall 2010 J.Crew.
"The Romantics," which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January but has no official release date, is about seven close pals reuniting for the wedding of two of their friends (Duhamel and Anna Paquin).
The problem is that the bride and maid of honor (Holmes) have a history of fighting over the groom. Sounds delicious, right?
The cast wears a lot of the retailer's "wares" during the film, InStyle reports, which makes sense, given that the J.Crew Bridal store just opened on New York City's Madison Avenue.
Spokespeople for J.Crew declined to release additional details.
