As if you weren't already pining for the kickoff of season 4 of uber-stylish "Mad Men" (July 25, folks!), Louis Vuitton's new Fall 2010 ad campaign will have you yearning for all things '50s and '60s.

The gorgeous images, shot by Steven Meisel in New York, feature three decades of stunning supermodels -- 41-year-old Christy Turlington, 31-year-old Karen Elson, and 28-year-old Natalia Vodianova -- radiating the "eternally feminine spirit" that was shown on the runway in March, a catwalk, that you might remember, featured the relatively busty models Laetitia Casta, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Bar Refaeli, Elle Macpherson, Lara Stone, Anne V, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

In the ads, the three ladies lounge in a luxe backstage dressing room while wearing fall's cinched-waist full skirts and dresses at proper below-the-knee lengths; fitted, cleavage-enhancing bodices; and, naturally, to-die-for handbags and shoes.



"Last season was all about the idea of the New Age traveler," Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs said in a statement. "This season was a manifesto for beautiful, ladylike clothes. Two different collections, two different campaigns, but one Louis Vuitton."

The soft, sepia-tone images highlight the models' dewy skin and shiny cheekbones painted by makeup artist Pat McGrath. Their swingy ponytails, with a little curl on the end, were styled by Guido Palau.

Expect to see the full range of images in the Fall 2010 issues of all of the big fashion magazines starting in August.
