Of course, the stars of the global phenomenon had expectations to live up to and hit the red carpet at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre in ensembles that didn't disappoint.
All eyes were on leading starlet Kristen Stewart, who opted for a white one-sleeved minidress with heavily beaded embellishment and a cut-out back from Elie Saab's Fall Haute Couture collection. She also sported matching super-pale white legs and a slightly undone updo by Frederic Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel.
Stewart's co-star and close friend Dakota Fanning also donned an asymmetrical Elie Saab Couture design in a nude hue with a crisscross bodice and fluffy feather hem paired with a sparkly Neil Lane platinum and diamond ring and a natural face courtesy of Neutrogena beauty products.
Other ladies looking positively lovely included Ashley Greene in a minimalist strapless Alexis Mabille Couture dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and Buccellati jewelry.
One of our favorite looks went to Bryce Dallas Howard, who paired her gorgeous deep red locks with Bulgari jewels and a yellow Christian Dior gown reminiscent of the iconic Vera Wang number Michelle Williams wore to the 2006 Oscars. And, like Williams, she paired the look with deep red Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour in the Cambon shade.
Not one to choose sides, Gucci also played the Team Jacob card, dressing Taylor Lautner in a slim gray two-button suit, white dress shirt, pocket square, and black leather lace-up loafers.
"Twilight" actor-slash-underwear model Kellan Lutz opted for a classic black Dolce & Gabbana to match his newly raven locks and brought along girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, who stunned in a strapless gold Nicole Miller. Lutz's co-star Peter Facinelli also wore Dolce -- a gray pin-striped suit -- and John Varvatos aviator shades.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian (and their little sisters), Amber Rose, Jaden Smith, Marisa Miller, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Alex Rodriguez were also on hand to amp up the star power to an even more insane level.
