Actress Mena Suvari, 31, fulfilled her dreams of a big, Italian wedding by tying the knot in a Vatican City civil service ceremony to her longtime love, music producer/concert promoter Simone Sestito.
Suvari was outfitted for her second marriage in a wedding dress by close friend Stacey Bendet of Alice + Olivia, Us Weekly reports.
No details on the dress were provided, and our requests for further comment on the gown were not answered.
Guests told People the wedding service, conducted in a private church, was "truly unique" and the bride looked "breathtaking." Natch!
Suvari met Sestito, 25, at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival; he proposed in 2008.
The couple chose Rome for their destination wedding because Canadian-born Sestito has a large extended family nearby.
Suvari was previously married to producer Robert Brinkmann, who is 17 years her senior. They divorced in 2005.
The "American Beauty" actress has another wedding on the horizon: She'll next appear opposite "Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable and singer Katharine McPhee in the upcoming green-card comedy "You May Not Kiss the Bride."
