Michelle Obama Wears Fenton-Fallon Necklace (Again!) For July Fourth Celebration

In lieu of bells and whistles, Michelle Obama broke out bows and and crystals in the form of an exquisite Fenton-Fallon necklace for her appearance on a Fourth of July TV special that is airing on ABC on Friday.

Paired against a strapless metallic Calvin Klein Collection dress, this marks the second time that the First Lady has been seen in the bow bib stunner. Originally created for the Fall 2009 collection by designer Dana Lorenz, the multifaceted accessory - which is comprised of Swarovski crystals, brass and gunmetal biker chains, and hand dyed silk bows - made its first appearance when Mrs. O was dressed in her holiday finery on Glamour's December cover.

"She definitely owns that piece," Lorenz told StyleList. "She bought it at Ikram in Chicago and then Jenna Lyons from J.Crew really fell in love with it so we did a modified version."

Those wishing to purchase the Fenton-Fallon for J.Crew necklace can still do so for a limited time only via the retailer's website. Unlike the original, which is out of stock and costs $690, this one is still available through the end of July for $295.

The "America Celebrates 4th of July" special will honor South African Justice Albie Sachs and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu with the 2010 Lincoln Medal.

I wouldn't say she needed a muzzle, etc.....Pretty rough words but I would say that it must be nice to buy
a necklace for some $600 something dollars when a lot of people do good to buy food.....Now, that does get my attention.......TIMES ARE HARD AND SHE HAS A
BIG EXPENSIVE NECKLACE!!!!
Just don't think she should rub her money into Americans' faces.....................Not being mean but just
truthful...

uh, APPARENTLY most of the people on here do not know that she does not own everything she wears. Most are either loaned or given to her. Apparently, if it was LAURA BUSH it would be okay. Wonder how much she BOUGHT. You people are grossly SICKENING.

Some of you people are ridiculous, spiteful BIGOTS. She is an attractive woman with her own sense of style. You may not like what she wears, heck I don't always like what she wears either, but at least she HAS style (and at least we no longer have to look at a president's wife wearing cardigan sets). Who cares if it was loaned or purchased? Prior to becoming First Lady, she was a successful attorney who made plenty of money and worked hard to reach that point.

I am so sick of the bigoted people who post this sort of drivel! You should be ashamed of yourselves.

First of all connie.. you are an idiot.. secondly.. I am not going to say anymore about that.. and will talk about my fourth of July BBQ!.. I am making "Love You Long Time Pork Ribs".. google them.. they are amazing!!! The recipe is for ribs braised in this amazing asian style bbq sauce and then I throw them on the grill.. the recipe is on a site that is a bit politically incorrect so if you don't have a good sense of humor.. i'd skip this one.

I agree. Most of you sound like jealous pigs. She is the first lady whether you like it or NOT. She also happens to be beautiful. Apparently you all dont have mirrors. So get one before you judge. The man is doing the best he can with what he has to work with, like the repubs and the crap Bush bunny left behind. Give him a break and go back under your rocks where the sun wont shine on your ugliness.
