Lindsay Lohan is headed to jail... but she's not going down without a fight.

The starlet turned up for her July 6 court appearance -- during which she was sentenced to 90 days in jail for breaking her probation -- with a foul-mouthed manicure that revealed the phrase "f*ck u" on her (appropriately enough) middle finger, Radar reports.

The naughty message was written in black over an otherwise sweet-looking pastel swirl of nail polish, though whether it was intended for the judge, the paparazzi lurking outside, or the entire legal system is anyone's guess.

The actress later went on Twitter to dismiss rumors that the manicure was intended for the courtroom, writing, "It had nothing to do w/court. It's an airush design from a stencil."

But instead of the dirty digit, perhaps Lindsay's tough-talking manicurist should have sent her a nail file. Homegirl's gonna need one to bust out of jail!
