Bulgari is about to get more manly.

Clive Owen, star of "Duplicity" and "Closer," is the face of their new men's fragrance simply called Bulgari Man.

"The intention is not only to add another fragrance but to set the tone of our masculine world. If you look at the other men's fragrances in our arena, in our opinion Pour Homme is formal and Aqua is sporty. They are good complements to this new product, which should be a pillar in the portfolio," Francesco Trapani, Bulgari's chief executive officer told WWD.

Perfumer Alberto Morillas gave Bulgari Man a woody-oriental scent with top notes of pear, bergamot and violet leaves, in addition to white wood and vegetal amber that's based on a proprietary Firmenich molecule.

"We wanted to create a new generation of masculine sexy and fresh perfumes," said Morillas.

The eau de toilette ($42-$79) is set to hit stores this fall and be followed by a shower gel ($35), after shave ($44) and deodorant ($25) launching January 2011.
