The clean-shaven actor was spotted yesterday on the Los Angeles set of his new movie, "Moneyball."
No mustache. No goatee. No weird-looking beard.
For a while, Pitt was making us rethink his worthiness as the "Sexiest Man Alive." Although he earned this title in 1995 and 2000 when he was relatively fuzz-free (besides, we don't mind a little scruff), it's the kind of award that carries a lifelong expectation for hottness, not grunge.
After taming his hippie-looking beard about a month ago, the 46-year-old reportedly shaved it all off to play Oakland A's General Manager Billy Beane.
So, if Pitt clearly looks better -- and younger -- sans facial hair, what was it all about? A rebellious act? A mid-life crisis?
Apparently -- even with six kids, a relationship with Angelina Jolie (who says she "loves Brad in every state") and one of the hottest careers in Hollywood -- Pitt was bored. Amidst the speculation that his unsightly beard was for another flick, he told Us Magazine, "It's boredom. No other reason than that."
Whatever the reason, we're just glad your "Sexiest Man Alive" face is back, Brad!
