A bright red lip always looks great on people with pale skin tones, but I've never had the encouragement to try it -- if I won I think I would.

I would LOVE to try a bright red lip because when I see it on other women I love it but have never had anything truely red in my wardrobe until now. I have just bought the perfect red summer top in the very similar if not the same shade and would just be so excited to win..;) Lisa

beyonce for one thing is gorgous and beautiful and she looks stunning wearing that bright red lipstick.my mother wear's red lipstick and she still look stunning in red lipstick . i have the look and the lips to wear red. back in the days the 30's, 40's the women wore bright red lipstick. i love that color red and i can wear that color red. it also goes with my skin tone.

One time I overheard my (then boyfriend) husband telling an older lady how lovely her shade of lipstick was. It was a bright cherry red and DID look awesome!

This is great. Brings back a fond memory of BIG RED LIPS.
Coming from a family of 11 children, raised by a single parent, with very little money for out side activities; we found fun in playing around and making fun of each other calling each other names... ie.. ...big head, big butt, and of course big lips.
I joined the Army at age 24 (now Retired) and learned to wear make-up, which included the most infamous RED LIPSTICK. Mind you, this was in the late 1970. Black girls did not do this.
I came home on Military Leave, arriving at the airport wearing MY RED LIPSTICK. As I approach my family happly awaiting my arrival, one of my brothers yelled out...."WHOA!!!.. HERE COME CATHY'S LIPS"!!!.
Needless to say, I stopped wearing RED LIPSTICK.
IT IS TIME I TRY (wearing) IT AGAIN!!!

Being pale I have always stayed away from bright reds but I am officially middle-aged might as well "go crazy" and get outside of my comfort zone!

I'm so glad red lips have made a comeback since the last cycle in the 80's - it's long overdue! Nude is always nice, but for glamourous evenings, a nice red pucker is the final touch to complete a dazzling look. I love L'oreal products - for one, I can afford them, and two, they're up to par with higher end cosmetics that I can no longer afford! lol.
