Although the rain dampened the performance of the Diane von Furstenberg-clad Radio City Rockettes at amfAR's Life Ball in Vienna, it didn't stop the troupe from making a fashionable stamp on the city.

The day before the thunderstorm-plagued performance, lucky audience members got to see the 24 Rockettes, completely dry, in a preview performance (wearing specially designed DVF tees).

Then, before their much-rehearsed performance for the likes of Bill Clinton, Francisco Costa, Kenneth Cole, and Rebecca Romijn, von Furstenberg surprised the well-dressed troupe with a tour through the city, where she treated the girls to a private trip to see the Belvedere Museum's Klimt collection.

"There is nothing more New York than the Radio City Rockettes," von Furstenberg told StyleList, "and we were thrilled to bring those legs, those kicks, and those glamorous women with us to Vienna."

For the actual performance, albeit quite wet, the ladies shined in little red pillbox hats and DVF's signature wrap dresses scrawled with the phrase 'Love is Life,' appropriate given amfAR's mission to support AIDS research.

Meanwhile, which over-the-top singer used an amfAR event to make a big style statement of her own?
