Have you ever wanted to see the people behind the fashion blogs? And even better, what these self-professed "fashion experts" could do with an outfit?

Charlotte Russe got a few of these sometimes fringy folks to reveal themselves and tested their skills all in one go for its "Project Mannequin."

The retailer took over a loft in New York City's Midtown and invited fashion bloggers to put an outfit together in 20 minutes. The bloggers were given a mannequin along with an event to dress for (dinner with his parents, Sunday brunch, etc.) and were granted access to "Charlotte's Closet," a room full of current merchandise.

"We took the last three collections and put it out as a closet and said, 'Do what you want with it,'" Jenny Ming, Charlotte Russe's CEO, tells StyleList. "I'm excited to see what they come up with."

"We were trying to figure out how to reach out to those customers who do not know about Charlotte Russe. It's all about what her interests are, and she reads blogs more than anything. We want the people who know about her and are hands-on to interact with us," Ming continues. "We have never really engaged bloggers at this level. I think this is the future."

Bragging rights for these bloggers are in your hands -- anyone can go to Charlotte Russe's Web site and vote on their favorite mannequin until July 22. Good luck!
