Wet Seal doesn't want you to blink, because if you do, you just might miss out on the national retailer's newest denim shop concept -- Blink.

The first Blink pop-up store opened in The Galleria at Tyler in Riverside, Calif., but the retailer has more short-term locations (each will be open for less than one year) planned in the coming months.

While Christine Thompson, brand director at the Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based specialty retailer, said that there are no concrete leases signed, they do plan to open about six stores before the holiday season begins.

"The primary purpose of this concept is for marketing our denim brands and the Wet Seal name before we enter a mall with a full Wet Seal concept," Thompson told StyleList.

Blink carries all of Wet Seal's latest denim trends with a small assortment of tops and accessories to pair with the jeans.

Look for denim from brands such as Vanilla Star, Paris Blues, Ten25, Dollhouse, and Wet Seal's own line, Blue Asphalt, retailing from $10 to $40.

All associates working at Blink have also been through special training and have graduated to become "Denim Experts." So feel free to ask them anything about the denim they carry at the store.

"The pop-up store concept has long been of interest to us, but we needed the right location to present itself," said Ed Thomas, Wet Seal's Chief Executive Officer, in a statement.

"Given Wet Seal stores are already a denim destination, we feel Blink provides the perfect opportunity to test an expanded denim assortment in a temporary environment."
