The sporty brand is a sponsor of this year's Lollapalooza, taking place in Chicago's Grant Park from Aug. 6-8. Besides the Adidas MEGA stage (which will feature hip-hop star B.o.B., The Walkmen, Chromeo, and more, festival goers can also pass some time between acts checking out the brand's MEGA shoe box interactive experience.
Inside the walls of the giant version of the company's Originals shoe box, folks'll find the new Adidas collection – and, of course, they'll be able to order new shoes on the spot (there's free shipping, too). If nothing else, it'll provide an opportunity to escape the heat for a few minutes.
And, to add a little more fashion to the music mix, Lollapalooza and Adidas also teamed up with Chicago-based artist Cody Hudson of Struggle Inc. to create the festival's 2010 limited-edition commemorative T-shirt.
Selling for $30 and available in three color combos (matching the new Adidas Originals MEGA collection -- white and blue, red and black, blue and yellow), they can be snapped up on site or at lollapalooza.com.
Maybe headliner Lady Gaga will trade in her latex and heel-less platform boots for a T-shirt and sneaks. Or not.
