Gap Tells Shoppers to 'Put Some Pants On' - Are You Offended by This Ad?
Who asked you? Gap tells shoppers to cover their legs. Photo: Hilary Moss, HuffPost
The retailer has launched a new advertising campaign in which it placed signs in store windows across the country imploring shoppers to "Put Some Pants On!" and then in smaller type, "Because We All Can't Look Good In Shorts."

While the campaign is meant to be a bit cheeky, we always thought the idea was to flatter customers, not insult them.
