But the singer admits that since shooting her globe-trotting VH1 reality show "The Price of Beauty," she's become all about ethnic-inspired ensembles.
"I encountered such vibrant colors," Simpson tells Lucky of her international adventures, in which she snapped up rich leather bags from North Africa and blingy baubles from India.
"Morocco was a huge influence on me when it comes to jewelry and fashion," adds the star, who also models a purple Haute Hippie dress with an olive Jessica Simpson Collection twill Sahara Military jacket and Glam Garden ring inside the magazine.
"You can't help but want to buy caftans when you're there!"
Not that Simpson is trying to cover up her curves: Another lesson she learned while meeting women from around the world was to find beauty in her body, no matter what size.
