Fall 2010 Top Nail Polish Trends

This summer, we dipped our digits in bright, funky shades of turquoise, orange, and pink, and even experimented with scented lacquers, eye-dilating neons, and at-home Minx.

But with the hot-weather months slowly coming to an end, we are looking forward to painting our nails in fall trends like mesmerizing and moody colors that evoke the essence of autumn -- nail colors that we can accessorize with the season's staples: chunky sweaters, motorcycle jackets, patterned tights, high-waist trousers.

I'm really sick and tired of seeing the comments section being used for the matchmaking ads. AOL is not doing a good job of monitoring it. Apparently AOL is too busy taking away mail controls/options and homepages/profiles from it's members. Are they trying to drive away their members?

I agree. I'm sick of the first 5 responses all being junk/spam that never gets taken down. Half of the articles AOL posts have the comments disabled pending "newer, more improved" commenting system. This, as anyone with eyes can see, is a load of crap. They need regular moderators, period. This will allow us to comment and banter on more controversial issues that they currently don't allow us to comment on, while also removing spam before it gets out of control.

I'd be MORE than happy to be a full time moderator, AOL, just saying! ;)

I love anything shiny as it keeps my boyfriends eyes only on me as I am a very jealous person. The green polish goes with my nature!

Got to be really unsure of yourself to believe paying that much for a bottle of nail polish is ever worth the cost. You'd do just as well to hit some place like Walmart and buy something like Sally Hansen, N.Y.C. or even Wet & Wild. Applied properly, any one of those three will last without chipping or fading. Oops! That's if you use the Kiss line of artificial nails. Yes, I do know what I'm talking about. I buy and resell polish at a discount. When applied to the Kiss nails, I've seen no chipping or fading after a full weeks use.

I love these colors! But because of using the term "vampy, or moody" and the fact that there will be people using these as a result of this article, I feel so sad that I won't use them. Now it's not origanal anymore. :-(

John--it's not just the chipping or fading, it's the density, hue and tone which Chanel is superior to other brands. And I would want to wear artificial nails because????
