Just when StyleList thought grown men with Justin Bieber bangs was the official hair spectacle of 2010, now comes Oxygen's reality show "Hair Battle Spectacular."

In what sounds like a mash up of "Iron Chef," "Shear Genius," and "Big Brother," the hairstyling competition will showcase top stylists attempting to out-'do each other in a styling "arena."

Contestants will also cohabitate while vying for a $100,000 prize (which can only mean Oxygen's trying to compete with ABC's spit-swapping contest "Bachelor Pad").

This contest will be hosted by Brooke Burns (ex-girlfriend of Bruce Willis) and judged by celebrity stylists Lindsay Albanese and Derek J of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" fame, along with a rotating roster of "guest" judges, Oxygen says.

Challenges -- described as being part pop art, part sculpture -- will focus on creating truly outrageous looks (hair in the form of multilayer wedding cakes or movable toy parts anyone?).

The over-the-top 'dos will then be presented in a "fully produced, dramatic, and stylized performance."

Oxygen revealed the show's contestants, and while several boast celebrity clients, StyleList was more amused by the pseudonyms they will use while competing: They include "J-Rok," "Tsunami," "Fingaz," and "Minista."

"Hair Battle Spectacular" premieres Aug. 10 at 10pm E.T. on Oxygen.

Speaking of outrageous hair, check out how singer Adam Lambert shaved and bedazzled his head for his upcoming tour.
