Hairstyles by Face Shape: The Perfect Haircut for a Square Face With Curly Hair

Just take a look at our latest hair makeover client Jill Jordan.
Jill has naturally long, wavy hair that some women pay a pretty penny for. The challenge is not with the length, but the way it's currently styled. Jill's bangs are closing in her face, shortening the length and making it appear more square.
By simply taking the bangs and sweeping them off to the side, Jill's face goes from square to more of an oval shape. Her eyes and cheekbones become the center of attention and her neck instantly appears longer.
To add balance, Dean also takes the length of her hair up a few inches and cuts more layers into the sides and the crown, helping to create fullness.
Whether Jill chooses to blow dry her hair straight or let it air dry curly, she now has a hairstyle that works with her face shape, rather than against it.
"It's gorgeous!" Jill says.
Speaking of gorgeous, did you see this hair makeover for a round face with curly hair?

She looked so much better (younger, too!) in the before picture.
