Perry tried the feat again -- albeit with five less looks -- at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, wearing seven getups aptly themed around teenage stereotypes. (Cue "The Breakfast Club" soundtrack.)
The singer opened the show as her 25-year-old self, performing her new hit single "Teenage Dream" -- which subsequently became the mini-theme of the show -- in tight zebra-print leggings, a pleather-y vest, and shredded T-shirt.
Switching into hostess mode for the first time, Perry hit the stage in a very grown-up striped tube dress by Giorgio Armani.
Then, after being joined by her co-hosts -- the boys of "Glee" -- each young male told Perry his own teenage fantasy, which, of course, figured into her next five costume changes.
First up was the classic cheerleader, which Perry channeled in a full-on squad uniform complete with a "P" on her shirt, gold pom-poms, and a whistle.
Next, the singer entered the stage -- arm in arm with "Glee" star Chris Colfer -- wearing a pink strapless ballgown paired with a "Prom Queen" sash.

Mark Salling, who joined the singer onstage for her geek (not-so-chic) look, looked uncomfortable as Perry spoke to him in a thick lisp and placed his hand in her jumper's pocket.

"Well, I look like an idiot," she said half-way embarrassed to be receiving the award in such a ridiculous costume.
The last look of the night for Perry was a Goth/Marilyn Manson-esque getup consisting of fishnet stockings on her arms and legs, a black leather dress and thick platform boots, along with purple lips and a long black wig parted down the middle, all of which she wore to present the final award of the night to the stars of the dark and moody "Twilight" saga.
