When we look back on the makeup trends that ruled the Fall 2010 runways, purple reigns! From the shimmering mauve lids at Carolina Herrera to the deep plum pouts at Peter Som, this season is all about getting pretty in purple.

And you don't have to worry about looking like an extra from a Prince video. Mega beauty brands have blended sophisticated shades of orchid, mauve, lavender, and eggplant into eyeshadows, nail polishes, and lipsticks, including the seductive lip hues, pictured above.
