All eyes were on Julia Roberts last night as she hit the red carpet for the New York City premiere of "Eat, Pray, Love" rocking short-shorts that showed off her gorgeous gams.

As our friends at PopEater report, the actress wore Diane von Furstenberg shorts, a Stella McCartney blazer, and satin Roger Vivier heels. The 42-year-old beauty rounded out her red carpet summer look with stacked bangles, statement-making earrings, and beachy waves.

She hit the red carpet with Javier Bardem and some of the film's other leading men, including Billy Crudup and Richard Jenkins. Co-star James Franco missed out on the action.

Based on the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert, "Eat, Pray, Love" finds Roberts as Gilbert, who after a tough divorce decides to start anew, embarking on a journey to Italy, India, and Bali in search of inner peace.

The film hits theaters Friday.
