Turns out, forty top runway models will be wearing Nine West boots specially designed for Modelinia with a built-in pedometer for the Runway Relief project.
The models -- led by industry fave Coco Rocha -- will measure the number of steps taken as they strut the runway, book it from one show to the next, and walk the city and duke it out for the most number of paces.
Nine West will make a monetary donation for every step to the CFDA's Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
Here's how you can get in on the action:
1. Sponsor a model. Sign up on Modelinia to keep track of your girls and donate $1 for every ten steps.
2. Buy your own Nine West/Modelinia boots. Love the motorcycle boot look? You can get your own pair on Facebook later this month or at the company's Fifth Avenue, NYC, location in early September.
3. Enter the Survival Kit contest. Check out Nine West on Aug. 31 and enter to win a complete Runway Relief Survival Kit, which includes a pair of boots, a Fashion Targets Breast Cancer tee, a canteen, and an army bag -- all shown on the models below.
