While the reality vixen may have posed in barely there makeup for Allure's September cover, "True Blood" stars Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin, and Stephen Moyer took it even further for the Sept. 2 issue of Rolling Stone by posing completely bare.
Oh, and they're covered in blood. Actually make that drenched in blood.
While the batty cover of the sexy Showtime vampire series cast -- which arrives on newsstands Aug. 20 -- may suck or seem tasteless to some, the trio, who were photographed by Matthew Rolston, did manage to keep things classy.
Skarsgard holds Paquin's blood-splattered leg in front of his nether regions to protect his modesty, while Moyer kindly fashions a flesh-colored brassiere for his real-life fiancée with his hand.
Stars showing skin on a magazine cover is nothing new -- Demi Moore sported a pregnant belly and nothing more in 1991 for Vanity Fair; Christina Aguilera stripped down to just a pair of gloves and boots for June's German GQ; and Lady Gaga goes Lady Godiva with just a long gray wig covering her hoo-ha on the current Vanity Fair.
We will admit, however, that stars showing blood is a whole 'nother twist. If not a bit twisted.
Still, is it any worse than the Miss Universe contestants posing in nothing but body paint?
