LBD Added to Oxford Dictionary of English

Word up! Finally some R-E-S-P-E-C-T for the LBD.
The abbreviation for "little black dress" has been added to the third edition of the Oxford Dictionary of English, the Daily Mail reports.
(As if any of us needed to look it up.)
Bromance, vuvuzela, turducken, and defriend were also among the more than 2,000 new entries, according to the paper.
An Oxford University Press spokesman told the paper that the dictionary -- which is separate from the Oxford English Dictionary -- relies on a word bank that is "fully based on evidence of how language is really used."
Totes. Samuel Johnson may be turning in his grave, but we're sure Audrey Hepburn would be proud.
