The latter group are on display in Hendricks's most recent modeling gig -- from the neck up -- for her friend/bridesmaid Tamara Mello's latest hand-knit scarf collection on Etsy. It's the bodacious "Mad Men" star's second time lending her looks to Mello's Blackbird Design House.
In the new images, Hendricks dons two different designs of the $130 scarves, with her hair pulled into a gentle curly updo (not a straight and severe version as seen on her character, Joan Harris), paired with rosy cheeks and pink lips.
Both scarves were inspired by the Japanese dyeing method of Shibori. One comes in shades of pale blue, plum, and moss green and is sculpted into organic shapes including little balled-up nests of fabric, while the second scarf is similar but in deep and romantic purple hues (which Hendricks accents with slightly deeper lips).
Aside from scarves, Mello's Blackbird Design House label carries handmade felted bowls, baskets, and trays, and she also designs jewelry under the Etsy brand Madre de Olivia.
