CBS.com will air a live, one-hour Web-cast of the historic catwalk event on Sept. 7 at 7pm EST, whetting appetites for the network's Sept. 14 "Fashion's Night Out 2010" special, which shows Anna Wintour and her crew working to bring the event into fruition.
Hosted by flamboyant Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley (we'll see how much he picked up from "America's Next Top Model") and the cult-followed model turned personal-style blogger Hanneli Mustaparta, the CBS.com Web-cast will be live-streamed straight from the runway at Lincoln Center thanks to sponsors Macy's and Maybelline.
As previously reported, Fashion's Night Out: The Show will feature 150 top models wearing the best fall trends styled by the editors of Vogue.
"As CBS.com continues to be one of the top sites in the entertainment field, it will prove to be the perfect home for an event of this magnitude," Anthony Soohoo of CBS Interactive said in a statement.
"We are thrilled to be able to allow our millions of users a first look at fall's hottest trends in addition to inspiring awareness of the much-needed economic stimulus that Fashion's Night Out provides."
Besides the two programs, CBS has also launched a special Fashion's Night Out 2010 website, cbs.com/FNO, containing more exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and a sneak peek of the TV special (if you liked the candid shots of Wintour in "The September Issue," chances are you'll want to set your DVR for this).
