As we come to the melancholy realization that this weekend is one of summer's last, we leave you with this effervescent video of a dazzling poolside spectacular. Directed by KT Auleta for The Nowness and starring Hungarian model Enikő Mihalik, it's the boundary-pushing makeup -- a feline flash of black, turquoise and violet, punctuated with tons of sparkle -- that caught our beauty eyes.
And then we found out that Lancôme creative director Aaron de Mey was the brains behind this beauty coup, which makes perfect sense. Famous for his love of high-impact color (Exhibit A: Lancome's Fall 2010 Ad Campaign), De Mey created the looks with lots of liquid liner, glitter, and Swarovski crystals.
