Anne Hathaway Debuts New Short Haircut

In preparation for her new film "One Day," Anne Hathaway has lopped off her lengthy locks for a shorter, cropped 'do.

The 27-year-old star was spotted on the movie set in Paris with a boyish haircut, swept off to the side. From long waves to sleek strands to a sexy bob, we've seen this "Valentine's Day" actress in just about every haircut over the last few years -- although never one quite this short.

But chopped or not, is there any look this brunette beauty can't pull off? We're just glad she didn't lighten her sultry strands for this film like she did for "Alice in Wonderland."

In the romantic comedy, Hathaway plays Emma who meets Dexter during their graduation in 1988 and reunites with him one day each year for the next 20 years.

And Hathaway is not Hollywood's only leading lady to rock the crop these days. Also taking the plunge recently was Emma Watson, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan (who worked under "One Day's" director in "An Education").

The real sin here is those sunglasses. With her eyes, they shouldn't be hidden. Her eyes are part of what makes her look so good.

The first thing I thought was the "Audrey Hepburn" look when I saw the picture. Leave Anne alone. She looks absolutely fantastic in anything! I have always been a fan of the bob cut on women. Often times, it works, sometimes it does not. On Anne, it works beautifully! This young woman is one of the most versatile actresses I've seen in a good while. From her Disney films to her more serious R-rated films, she can do it all! And looks absolutely gorgeous doing it!
