We imagine that will be the rallying cry of women on a mission for shoes starting in fall 2011.
Famed footwear maestro Brian Atwood has entered into an agreement with Jones Apparel Group to create a contemporary collection of shoes and accessories called B Brian Atwood that will be sold in better department and specialty stores. Shoes will retail for $200 to $400 and boots will cost up to $600.
"I look forward to translating my design aesthetic and guarantee of high-quality, sexy footwear for a larger audience," Atwood said in a release.
"Brian has made his mark on the upscale footwear market by bringing a fresh, sexy, and modern design to all of his products," Richard Dickson, CEO of branded businesses at Jones said in a release. "As we look to build Jones design talent into a place that helps visionaries grow their brands, Brian is one of the most respected design talents in the industry."
Atwood's fantastic footwear is famous for its elaborate skins, long fringe, and glittering jewels. His collaborations with Victoria Beckham are beyond description.
And though we only have to wait until next fall for the shoes, sadly, the handbags and jewelry won't be available until 2012.
