DESIGNER: Celeb-utante Tinsley Mortimer

INSPIRATION: "Eighties rock bands, lingerie, and corseting and lace," Mortimer told StyleList. "The overall theme is '80s rock bands. I grew up in the '80s and love Whitesnake, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, all of it. I wanted to combine that with a girly theme."

TOP LOOKS: "I love that I found that leather that looks like lace," Mortimer said. So does StyleList, particularly when combined with the laced-up corset look.

ACCESSORIES: It was all handbags.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: We're not sure we buy Mortimer as a handbag designer (she's a pro at the party circuit though), but this Japanese company certainly does sell mountains of these bags in its homeland. For the U.S., they're on trend, but we'd hardly expect Mortimer to create an "It" bag that will be utilized by her peers. It will be interesting to see whether her exposure through her canceled television show on the CW, "High Society," will drive sales of these bags.
