The Eyebrow Pencil That Made Me Care About My Brows - I Tried it!

Mine are fairly innocuous. They're blondish and on the smaller side and they don't grow together in the middle. So, I consider myself lucky not to be a slave to threading or waxing or even tweezing on a weekly basis.
This is not to say that I shouldn't spend more time on my arches, I just feel like I'd rather devote my limited primping time to zit and undereye coverage and sunscreen application. In other words -- I've got bigger fish to fry.
But every year or so, I get a nice little reminder from the beauty industry that, in fact, I do have eyebrows and that mine could benefit from closer examination.
Here's how it usually goes: I get invited to an editor event hosted by a brow guru or makeup artist and he or she inevitably recommends I darken/fill in my brows daily, with some sort of pencil, powder, paste, or other kind of spackle made for just this very purpose.
Next, this professional expertly applies said product and I promptly freak out at how dark my brows are, having forgotten (again) that they're up there. I demurely ask the person to take the color down a few notches and then I marvel at how much better I look with properly-groomed brows.
The next day, when I take five minutes to erase zits and choose one of my 52 berry lip glosses, I glance at the brow product and quickly move past it in favor of spending a few seconds with my lash curler.

At last, a brow tool I will actually adopt as my own. First, it's important to note that finding a brow enhancer for blonds isn't easy; they tend to be too pink or too gray -- or just too dark -- and often hard to apply in the perfect feathery strokes. Not this pencil, it's impossible to screw up.
The two things I like most about it? The shade is spot on and it has the most convenient sharpener right in the cap! I don't know about you, but I always lose my sharpeners in my bottomless makeup bags. The Shobha pencil is also soft and easy to blend, making my frequent errant strokes a breeze to clean up.
I am a convert. My brows won't go ignored anymore.
Which is perfect for now, as bold brows are a huge fall trend.
