Anna Wintour is making the late-night rounds again.

After appearing last year on David Letterman, the Vogue editrix joined designer Marc Jacobs for some couch time on last night's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to promote next Tuesday's Fashion's Night Out.

Needless to say, awkwardness ensued.

Clad in a taupe ombré Carolina Herrera dress and her signature bob, Wintour appeared stiff, interrupting a conversation between the influential designer and Fallon to say, "I think we're meant to talk about Fashion's Night Out."

Of course, she may have just been miffed that Fallon introduced her as "Onna Wintour." Tsk, tsk.

But we can't be too hard on ol' Anna. She did deliver some good -- if not a tad catty -- gossip about Lady Gaga, who performed at this year's Met Costume Institute Gala.

"She was communing with God and she was praying in the back, waiting for God to tell her it was all right to go actually onstage," Wintour revealed.

Juicy! Jacobs, on the other hand, wore a "half kilt" and chatted to Fallon about his big break, his reputation for being late, and having celebrities like director Sofia Coppola wear his designs.

Oh, and good news, bikini-rocking Demi Moore. According to Jacobs, "47 is the new black." But then, something tells us you already knew that...

Meanwhile, see which supermodels will be storming the catwalk at Fashion's Night Out.
