Our latest makeover client, Judy Otto, has naturally curly hair that is beautiful but she feels it is flat and frizzy.
Celebrity hairstylist Andy Lecompte admits that Otto's current style is on the right track, but her hair has become overgrown and lacks volume to flatter her oval face shape.
By adding soft layers and trimming the ends without removing too much length, Lecompte creates a fresh new look for Otto. Reshaping her strands adds height to her crown and sides to complement her oval face, while the sun-kissed highlights add a youthful appearance.
After drying Otto's hair, Lecompte uses a curling iron for a finished look. He then tousles it with his fingers to form loose, beachy waves with tons of bounce.
