The five-time Grammy award winner looked to be right at home in her new role, sparkling in a metallic one-shoulder sheath dress and nude pumps. Yet despite the Hollywood glamour, Underwood said that her beauty outlook is more girl-next-door.
"I started to focus on how I took care of my skin in my 20s, because I don't want to ever do drastic things to my face. It's just not my style, I want to keep it as natural as possible," said Underwood.
Olay has a long tradition as an anti-aging brand, which Underwood knows through a childhood memory.
"As a little girl, I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin. I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise," said Underwood.
Underwood's endorsement signals a new kind of outreach for Olay.

As for her personal Olay must-haves, Underwood says that she has been using the Total Effects line since college, as it's undetectable under her makeup. She also relies on the cleansing cloths to whisk off stubborn eye makeup, which she otherwise has trouble removing without burning her eyes.
And when it comes to her skincare regime, the 27 year-old likes to keep it simple.
"Nothing beats a good cleansing and moisturizing. It really doesn't have to get more complicated than that, no reason to use tons of products," said Underwood.
She sounds like a budgetista after our own heart.
Underwood will join celebrity Olay brand ambassadors from around the world, which include actress Thandie Newton in the U.K., singer and actress Lucero in South America and actress Maggie Cheung in China.
