Chance are that if you're a skincare buff, you've seen the Yes To Carrots product line before. A staple on the shelves of retailers like Target, the line brings natural skincare to mass merchandisers across the nation.
Now, the creators behind the brand are turning to the most famous antioxidant of all -- blueberries -- with their anticipated October launch.
Yes To Blueberries is a line of anti-aging skincare that features natural ingredients that claim to improve skin firmness, improve fine lines and wrinkles and hydrate age-wearied skin.
The best part? Products will be budget-friendly even with the high quality, pure ingredients.
"We wanted to provide great, natural skincare for under $20. We're all about the democratization of skincare," director of marketing Elie Foster told StyleList at the New York launch event.
Products like the Eye Firming Treatment feature such exotic ingredients as paracress flower from South Africa, where the brand works with an economic empowerment group so that the buds are sustainably farmed.
The Daily Repairing Lotion contains organic cotton thistle from France that keeps the outer layer of skin moist and luminously supple, and helps boost collagen product for a firmer feel.
The "Yes To" umbrella also includes lines that focus on cucumbers and tomatoes.
But whatever you do, don't throw around the phrase "anti-aging" near the Yes To Blueberries crew.
"We don't call it anti-aging, we call it age refresh. We're a positive brand, and we never want to tell a customer that her skin isn't good enough," said Foster.
The new line won't hit suppliers like Whole Foods until October, but you can pre-order products on the website now.
Clearly, these folks know that we're impatient when it comes to addressing our anti-aging -- err, age refresh needs.
