Backstage at the Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2011 fashion show at New York Fashion Week, models arose with fresh faces and wide-eyed makeup accentuated with textured tresses and distressed digits.

THE SCOOP: For their Spring 2011 collection, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs were inspired by the ethereal darkness of a girl coming undone. And the beauty teams accentuated the designer duo's simple color palette with lit from within looks.

Sarah Tanno resurrected models with dewy skin and white-rimmed eyes. Instead of smoothing on a bold lip, the makeup artist blended on a touch of color in the center to make it appear as though "she's bleeding from her soul and very much coming back to life." Hairstylist Jordan M. wanted to give the girls lots of texture so he amped up locks, working with a wavy setting spray, blowdryer, and his hands. Dashing Diva manicurists reinterpreted the "digging in gold" look Cushnie et Ochs wanted by applying ragged, gold foil onto the edges of the nails and then covering their entire toe nail in the same foil.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by M.A.C. Cosmetics. Mix Strobe Cream and Face and Body Foundation and blend onto skin for a dewy finish. Create an instant glow by brushing on Pigment in Vanilla in a C-shape. Line lids with Chromaline in Pure White and dust lashes with a white eyeshadow. Skip the mascara and leave brows natural. Using Brush #219 blend Up The Amp Lipstick onto the center of the lips.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All hair products by Bumble and Bumble. Saturate strands with Surf Spray and blowdry product throughout, using hands to enhance the natural texture. Add hair extensions if necessary for length. Create a clean, middle part and finish with Does It All Finishing Spray.

GET THE LOOK - NAILS: Start with round, short nails. Apply one coat of clear nail polish. Paint on Dashing Diva's Fashion District nail lacquer along the edges to mimic the gold edge finish.
