DESIGNER: Charlotte Ronson

INSPIRATION:
Marc Jacobs' seminal "grunge" collection for Perry Ellis, and slackers everywhere but especially from the early 1990s, says Ronson's choice in music.

TOP LOOKS: Olive long, straight shirtdress, filmy sheer camisoles, and skirts screaming out to be layered

ACCESSORIES: Silver rings in lips, noses, and eyebrows; slouchy knee socks pushed down and worn with open-toe shoes and sandals

WHO WAS THERE: Alison Brie, the Veronicas, the Dexter-Jones Ronson clan, and loads of too-cool hipsters

WHAT WE THOUGHT:
As big fans of the grunge collection, that fashion era strikes an affectionate chord. Why not wear a long flowered dress with clunky boots and a plaid shirt around your waist? Ronson's execution, however, would benefit from a bit more buttoning up. Still, messy may appeal to her devotees.
