WHAT WE THOUGHT: With a focus on feminine trousers, skirts and shorts paired with floaty secretary blouses, Jill Stuart served up yet another drool-worthy collection for girly girls for Spring 2011 (especially ladies favoring Peter Pan collars, pin-tucking and tiny bowties).
In a mostly cream and black palette with shots of gold and khaki, Stuart went lady-like to the max, per usual, while also dabbling in big volume (including one clown-collar dress worn by the pouty-lipped Lindsey Wixson) and a few sleek pieces that recalled nineties minimalism.
Fluid fabrics were expertly coupled with sturdy shiny ones and the end of the show ended with a bang, as a parade of stellar cream colored dresses with textured embroidery (silk rosettes everywhere!) and loads of glittering crystals stalked down the celeb-studded runway.
