DESIGNER: Diane von Furstenberg

INSPIRATION: "Goddesses," sparked by seeing a show in Paris about dancer Isadora Duncan

TOP LOOKS: Jumpsuits in electric blue and hot pink; trench cape-jacket with matching shorts; lots of bright separates; sweet drop-waist cocktail dress with crystal embroidery

ACCESSORIES: Vintage-looking round sunglasses, large carryall totes in bold geometric prints that match the collection; chic fanny packs; strappy heels

WHO WAS THERE: Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Bilson, Molly Sims, Barry Diller, Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen of Bravo

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Busy CFDA President and international glamazon Diane von Furstenberg marked the dawn of a new era, with Yvan Mispelaere taking the reins as new creative director. If DVF's final bow was any indication -- she walked arm in arm with her new leading man -- the queen of the wrap dress is quite pleased with her new arrangement.

The show started with a brown jumpsuit featuring a white graphic print, followed by sporty hoodies and drawstring pants. Bold geometric prints were scattered throughout, notably on georgette wrap dresses and oversize tote bags. And, this being a goddess-y theme and all, a white one-shoulder gown was thrown in for good measure. The narrative wasn't totally cohesive, but DVF is a woman of the world, so her inspirations run deep.
