Backstage at Max Azria's Spring 2011 collection at New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the look was clean and simple, and almost as if the girls just piled their hair up as they got out of the shower.

THE SCOOP: "Azria requested an updo that was fresh and not so serious, so we did a simple chignon, but with a wet look to the hair for a cool element -- it looks like it might fall apart," Philippon told Stylelist.

"The makeup is clean and minimal, but still healthy looking," said Butler. She used a lot of wet-looking, transparent color on the skin, for a dewy effect that's more modern then matte powder.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by Temptu. The artists used Retouch on the face in Copper, Peach and Pearl to contour, flush and highlight the skin with very sheer color. There was no mascara and the lips were airbrushed with a bit of sheer coral color.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All hair products by Bumble and Bumble. The stylists wet the girls' hair and then "froze" the wet look with Bumble and bumble Gel. Then they twisted the hair into a haphazard pile and pinned it in place for a very undone updo.

GET THE LOOK-NAILS: Both nail and toes were treated to OPI Nail Lacquer in Coney Island Cotton Candy -- a peachy, nude shade.
