Kristin Cavallari is trying to keep sensible hours at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, despite hitting Alexander Wang's over-the-top party Saturday night.

"I was in bed at midnight, and then I got up at 9 o'clock," "The Hills" star told StyleList at Catherine Malandrino's presentation on Sept. 12.

On her wish list for fall: thigh-high Gucci boots. "I'm dying to get them," she said.

"Community" star Alison Brie, also at Malandrino, did a whirlwind long weekend of fashion shows.

"I've been dashing around since Thursday, and I'll be going to shows all day, and then straight to the airport," said the actress, who will take a red-eye back to L.A. and be on set in the morning.

Brie especially liked the navy Malandrino short pants she was wearing. "I'm a shorts collector," she said. "Once I have a good pair of shorts, I never let them go."

Malandrino's presentation was held outdoors around a reflecting pool on the Lincoln Center plaza, with French music playing; the rain held off and attendees reveled in the unexpectedly cool weather.

Not everyone was happy, however: The models had to stand in the same place for an hour. "I'm cold," a shivering Sessilee Lopez told StyleList. "It would be nice if we were inside."
