THE SCOOP: Cynthia Steffe's Spring 2011 collection was inspired by a girl that exudes "retro, jet set glamour, but she's firmly rooted in the present." And to complement the cool, contemporary designs, lead hairstylist Tippi Shorter perfected sleek, carefree locks.

"She [Steffe] was very clear. She wanted simple, sporty hair à la '60s, '70s," says Shorter. "And the words she used was 'virgin suicides' which is perfect."

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All hair products by Avon. Prep hair with Advance Techniques Frizz Control Shampoo and Frizz Control Conditioner. Apply Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield to towel-dried hair. Using a flat brush and a hair dryer, smooth hair straight until completely dry. Finish with a flat iron if needed. Spray Advance Techniques Volumizing Spray Gel through dry hair. Using a hair dryer and your hands, smooth hair down as you activate the product with heat. Create a deep side part and lightly spritz hair with Advance Techniques Hair Spray. Divide hair into 4-6 sections, depending on thickness of hair. Twist each section of hair while running a hair dryer through the length of the twist to create texture, working section by section. Pump a dime size of amount of Advance Techniques Dry Ends Serum in the palm of your hands, rub hands together and run fingers through the hair to loosen the twist and then scrunch. Lightly mist Advance Techniques Hair Spray on a small brush and use the brush to work the front section of hair behind the ear, while staying along the hair line. Use a baby bobby pin to secure hair behind the ear so the bobby pin is not visible.
