tropics. And the hair and makeup teams followed suit by recreating sun-kissed babes with relaxed hair.

Lead makeup artist Lucia Pica perfected a "hot flash look" by smoothing a brown cream onto the cheekbones and dabbing a glycerin spray on the cheeks, chin and nose. She made the pout pop with a matte orange lipstick coined So Chaud.

Inspired by the markings on tropical leaves, hairstylist Odile Gilbert created a clean, casual hairstyle. "I wanted to create an exotic look that had the mood of a woman on a tropical holiday, ready to explore something new after a morning on the beach," said Gilbert. "Her hair looks natural, healthy, straight and clean -- but I've given it a bit of subtle drama, with texture only on the top of the hair and back from the face. The rest of the strands fall free."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by MAC Cosmetics. Cover any blemishes with concealer. Curl lashes and coat top and bottom with mascara. Brush brows up and smooth on eyebrow gel. Slick Vaseline onto the eyelids. Apply a brown cream shadow to the cheekbones. Finish look with So Chaud lipstick and lightly brush on top a powder to matte it down. Use a Q-tip to soften the edges.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All hair products by Moroccanoil. Blow dry hair straight using Treatment or Light to protect and prepare the hair for smoothing with a flat iron. Create a deep side part and then lightly moisten top of hair from the forehead back to the crown with Hydrating Styling Cream, separating hair slightly with fingers. Spray Luminous Hairspray only several inches away from the hair. Separate strands with a comb to mimic a striated tropical effect. Blow dry the shaped texture and spray with Luminous Hairspray to hold. Finish by brushing the rest of the hair from back of the crown to the ends, letting it fall naturally and tucking the strands behind the ears.
