Monique Lhuillier

INSPIRATION: Cheery cherry blossoms from an idealized Garden of Eden of red apples, shimmery snakes, and oceanic hues

StyleList loves when Lhuillier does pants, as hers are always so long and lean. The delicate cherry-blossom-print dresses and gowns are works of art.

ACCESSORIES: Fred Leighton jewels are always right with satin and sparkle.

Giada De Laurentis, Alexis Bledel, Emma Roberts, and Perrey Reeves.

Every couple of seasons, Lhuillier stretches herself beyond her comfort zone of gorgeous gowns, and thus creates some of her most memorable collections. Must be good for her business, as we bet the demand for short cocktail dresses and pants is slightly larger than for full-on gowns. Her concept this season, Eden, was so well-developed that the pieces should be appreciated along with their artistry.
