Mama mia! Sixty years after she competed in the Miss Italy pageant, a still stunning 75-year-old Sophia Loren returned to the stage on Sept. 13 looking like she was ready to take the crown.

Wearing her auburn hair teased into her classic flowing waves, a diamond choker and earrings, and a skintight sparkling silver gown with a plunging neckline that highlighted her sun-kissed skin, the Italian screen legend was on hand at Salsomaggiore Terme to judge the competition -- and gave each of the contestants a run for her lira.

Prior to the event, Loren, a Miss Italy 1950 hopeful who was recently named one of the world's sexiest women, chatted with this year's beauty principessas and offered tips on what they should hope to achieve, reports the Daily Mail.

Afterward, she revealed her secrets to maintaining her killer curves.

"I always wake up early and jump out of bed -- sometimes not wanting to, because one can always find an alibi not to exercise -- and then I take a walk for an hour," said Loren, who posed nude for the Pirelli calendar in 2006.

And while Loren once claimed, "Everything you see, I owe to spaghetti," the "Nine" star admitted, "I have little portions of pasta nowadays. I don't eat a lot of fat -- or sweet things, which I love. I am quite -- not very -- careful about not gaining weight."

The bella nonna -- an idol of Kim Kardashian -- just keeps getting more glamorous with each passing year and hopes to inspire other women with her looks and outlook.

"I've never hidden my age from the world because I don't care. We can't hide time," she said. "I'm not frightened of it. I'm finding my second youth." Brava!
