Who needs crystal-embellished pants and formfitting bodysuits.

Turns out "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino already has an all-American ballroom costume: an Uncle Sam-like suit with coordinating thong.

The "Jersey Shore" star revealed to "Tonight" show host Jay Leno that he once worked in a strip club, where his job consisted of being the "dude with the shirt off" and serving drinks.

One night, though, he was recruited to hit the stage in more revealing attire, he divulged.

"I really didn't like it though," the reality star insisted after Leno hit him up with questions about his stripping experiences. "I really didn't like the costume. You know? The outfit."

Born on the Fourth of July, Sorrentino explained he skipped the expected cop and fireman costumes for the patriotic look.

"I don't know if it was Uncle Sam, but it was some sort of Uncle Sam with a thong," Sorrentino told Leno as fellow guest Jamie Lee Curtis burst out laughing. "I wasn't really feeling it."

Here's hoping "DWTS" costumer Randall Christensen sticks with his plans to outfit this situation in something that hides his stars and stripes for the season's Sept. 20 premiere.
