DESIGNER: Christopher Kane
ON THE FRONT ROW: Yasmine Le Bon, Carine Roitfeld and Anna Wintour
KEY LOOKS: Neon lace, on dresses, trousers, tops and more, some of it delivered bold and brash, some of it to more subtle effect, overlaid with more traditional embroidery
THE ACCESSORIES: Stacked neon heels with lace-tie straps
WHAT HE EMAILED US EARLIER THIS MORNING: "At last it's the day of my SS11 show. I am SO excited but very nervous!! And tired! We've had late nights every night this weekend; my team are still working on last-minute finishes... it's going to be a close one, but sure we will get there."
FRONT-ROW GOSSIP: Will this be Christopher Kane's last show in London? We overheard one front-row guest telling friends that he might be off to Paris next season.
WHAT WE THOUGHT: From the laser-cut leather opening pieces to the sultry neon lace dresses at the end, there wasn't a look that won't be coveted by the fashion pack. Inspired by Japanese tattoo designs, the mix of ink prints with the neon brights was totally unique and we loved the hand beading that covered the more intricate outfits. One word of warning: buy from this collection and they'll be no hiding yourself in the crowd. Wallflowers need not apply.
