Not only is the covetable clothing company launching the first of four luxe shops in Russia come November, WWD reports that Reiss is also planning a shop-in-shop at the Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship in New York City.
"In the United States, our big challenge is building brand awareness," David Reiss, the company's founder, tells WWD. "Bloomingdale's is giving us a prime location. If it does well, they want to put it in a raft of stores."
The Reiss in-store shop at Bloomie's will be next to Burberry Brit, Catherine Malandrino, Vince, and Theory, and will carry a few goods that are exclusive to the shop-in-shop.
Sources at Reiss tell StyleList the first exclusive items will be women's apparel and accessories, while construction on the space won't begin until renovation of Reiss's New York flagship in SoHo is complete, which is likely late Spring 2011 or early fall.
Reiss tells WWD more stores in the Middle and Far East are up next.
