Catherine Zeta-Jones wowed the Welsh in a stunning red Reem Acra cap-sleeve gown at the "Welcome to Wales" event which was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Sept. 29.

Zeta-Jones accessorized the body-hugging gown with a Judith Leiber clutch and Lorraine Schwartz chandelier earrings. To complete the look, the actress wore a pair of towering gold heels tucked under the floor-length frock.

Her bold red lips -- somewhat of a signature for the face of Elizabeth Arden -- and severe side part (although she has also been known to sport scrunchies!) added just the right amount of glam.

It was an emotional evening for the 41-year-old stunner who addressed husband Michael Douglas's throat cancer treatment. Zeta-Jones had to fight back tears during her welcome speech as she told the 13,000 strong audience that her 66-year-old husband was "holding up very, very well."
